BEHIND THE MUSIC

As a youngster, Carl was drawn to music and started off singing at family events and local pubs. In 2013 Carl was selected to perform with the Three Lions, travelling to perform across the globe from the UK to Russia, Slovenia and Israel as part of the renowned Art Music Festival. Shortly after, Carl began recording his first album with SAFO Music Group in London. His debut album due for release later this year, is a mix of original releases and covers from influential artists.

Carl is strongly influenced by the desire to advocate for mental health awareness ever since his own personal struggles after losing his mum to cancer in 2017. His debut release, Close My Eyes, was in tribute to his mum and his second release, Bottle It Up, played a strong role in coping with her loss. A family man, Carl is a proud father to four children, whom he also draws inspiration from in his songwriting.
